Chris Brown explains his many tattoos to a magazine:

“I got most of these tattoos early. On my 13th birthday I was like, “Mom, I want a tattoo.”

She’s like, (high pitched voice) “You ain’t gettin’ no tattoo!”

So I went against her will and got one but I told her it was positive so then she liked it. That first one is basically Jesus with the music notes signifying he gave me the gift to sing. Then I got this one when I was 14, I drew this C (looks like a graffiti tag) and added a hand image. The hand means me holding my own name, my own destiny.

I had to do one for Virginia, when I was 16, in Miami. I designed that. Then it’s a spray can because I used to do graffiti and the B for Brown. I recently got this one (on his hand, it’s a skull with a halo over it). I got it the day after my 18th birthday and it signifies when you die, when you’re buried, your flesh deteriorates and all that’s left is your bones and the memoryof you, it’s your bones, but you an angel.

I wanted to do something that’s not demonic, so I put a halo over it to make something positive. And then this one, these is ninjas but Darkness to lightwas about my life, me being a kid but being bad, being with the wrong crowd, doing the wrong things, but following my own path. This is the demon that I used to fight when I was younger, this is the angel, they just battled.”

He has tattoo of:

Jesus

A Hand Holding a C

A Skull with a Halo on it

A Demon & some Ninjas

Chris Brown Right Arm Tattoos

The first tattoo was Jesus with music notes. It signifies the fact of Jesus giving him the gift to sing.

Under that are ninjas battling each other with swords and the phrase “Darkness to Light” meaning he hung around with a bad crowd when he was a kid, but then he found his own path and came up out from all that.

Chris Brown has gotten yet another tattoo. This time the singer/songwriter decided to use the opportunity to send a message with his body art as ‘FAME’ means‘Forgive All My Enemies’. Hey, it’s better than getting the typical skull and bones I guess.

The second of Chris Brown’s tattoos was a graffiti “C” in a hand that sits high on his upper left arm. This tat means his destiny is in his own hands. Under that sits a “2″ up an arrow pointing up, and a “2″ with an arrow pointing down. This was done when he was 16 in Miami. Under that is a spray can with an angry face because he used to enjoy doing graffiti.

Both of Brown‘s hands have a simple skull with a halo on top of it, which he got shortly after his 18th birthday. This is symbolic of how we deteriorate when we die, and the only thing left is our bones and memories.

Star Tattoo – When he was dating Rihanna, both of them decided to get the star tattoo. Rihanna got it on her neck and so did Chris. Chris star tattoo is slightly behind the ear. Though later Rihanna’s star tattoos went all the way down to her back, Chris star tattoos stayed where they are.

Chest Tattoo – The latest tattoo Chris got in the year 2009 was a chest tattoo. There is no clear indication of what the tattoo means. But many people saw the tattoo when he flaunted it on the Hawaiian beach. Speculations are, he got the tattoo in Hawaii itself.

There's a picture of his all tattoos together.
